Techniques for Soft Tissue Preservation with Immediate Implant Placement and Temporization Techniques: A Virtual Hands-on Course

January 20, 2021 • 5:00pm-7:00pm CST • 2 CE Credit Hours • $75 Tuition

Presented by Dr. Stephen Chu

Immediate implant placement in extraction sockets with immediate temporization offers advantages to both the patient and the clinician, including fewer surgical procedures and reduced treatment time. While immediate implant placement and restoration presents unique challenges, improvements in implant design, bone and tissue preservation procedures and provisional restoration techniques can provide the benefits of immediate treatment with the success rates of delayed protocols.

This webinar is designed for surgeons or restorative doctors who are interested in learning a unique protocol for making an immediate custom healing abutment chairside.

Learning objectives include:

  • Unique methods for fabrication of an immediate healing abutment, crucial to hard and soft tissue preservation
  • Proficiency in making an implant level impression with properly captured subgingival contours
  • Hands-on application of the technique using models and materials received ahead of time, in conjunction with materials from the doctor’s practice

*Attendees will receive materials prior to the webinar so they can participate in a hands-on application of the technique.
